Thanks.

Years of sustained sustained pressure are reshaping the Taiji dolphin hunt industry.

In the last 10 years, live captures for captivity have fallen by 42%. In just the past 5 years, slaughter numbers have dropped by 50%. These are real reductions, and they are the result of persistent advocacy, international scrutiny, and pressure on the industries that profit from the hunts.

In 2026, our focus is clear: economically disrupting the captive dolphin trade that keeps the Taiji hunts alive.

By exposing importers of Taiji dolphins, and pressuring travel companies and industry stakeholders, we are working to cut demand at its source. When demand drops, the hunts lose their incentive.

With a donation of any size, you can help us:

  • Investigate and expose the global pathways that move dolphins from Taiji into captivity

  • Pressure dolphin parks and tourism platforms to refuse dolphins linked to the hunts

  • Expand our network of experts and advocates working to shut down the trade for good

  • Shift public awareness to cut demand for Taiji-linked dolphin attractions
